TEST PIT EXCAVATION ON WEST 12TH STREET FROM MOTTER AVENUE TO NORTH MARKET STREET
Frederick, Md. --- Please be advised that Mid-Atlantic Utilities, Inc. will be performing test pit excavation to locate and confirm existing utilities in the area mentioned. Traffic control will include lane closures and flagging operations as necessary. Construction is scheduled for July 24, 2006 through July 28, 2006 on West 12th Street from Motter Avenue to North Market Street.
We regret any inconvenience that this may cause and thank you for your cooperation.
IMPACT TO AREA:
1. Traffic control devices such as traffic cones, signs and arrow boards will be used to limit traffic to one lane during the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
2. Temporary traffic detours will be installed on a daily basis, as needed, from 6:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. During these temporary detours, only local traffic and deliveries will be permitted on the street being worked on.
3. Please exercise caution when driving or walking in the vicinity of the temporary bypass piping (blue pipe along street).
4. Please note that during the progress of this work, parking along the street is strongly discouraged. During non-working hours, miscellaneous equipment and materials will be stored within the parking lanes of the streets as necessary.
