UPDATE ON WALTER MARTZ ROAD CLOSING

Frederick, Md. --- The City of Frederick has been informed by Day Development Company, L.C., that work on Walter Martz Road, from Christopher’s Crossing at Poole Jones Road to Walter Martz Road at Whittenburg Court, that began in November 2005 and was expected to be completed by January 1, 2006 has been extended for a week or so. It is anticipated that the street resurfacing will be completed by Friday, January 13, weather permitting. Once resurfacing is completed the road will reopen to normal traffic flow. Please expect delays and detours.
