AUTOMATED TRASH COLLECTION PROGRAM COMING TO A NEIGHBORHOOD NEAR YOU!
Frederick, Md. --- On January 2, 2006 the City of Frederick began delivering 4000 carts to single family homes in the following neighborhoods: Amber Meadows; Clover Ridge; College Estates; E. Patrick St. area (King Ave., Davis Ave., Key Ave., Monroe Ave., Highland St., E. Patrick St., Franklin St., Hamilton Ave., Pennsylvania Ave., Virginia Ave., Maryland Ave.); portions of Hillcrest; Emerald Farms; Golfview; Lake Coventry; Monarch Ridge; Monocacy Meadows; Monocacy Village; Old Farm; Overlook; Rivercrest; Rock Creek Estates; Stonegate Farms; Taskers Chance; Villa Estates; Walnut Ridge; Warfield; Waverley View; Whittier (W. Greenleaf Drive area not currently being served); Willowcrest; and Winters Run. Once a resident has received the cart they should begin using it immediately. If you have not received a cart to date please set out trash as you normally would.
Residents are able to visit the City Of Frederick’s website at www.cityoffrederick.com <http://www.cityoffrederick.com> to view information on the program including a map of the areas included in the Automated Trash Collection Program. Homes directly affected received a pamphlet of information in mid-December 2005.
As a part of the Automated Trash Collection Program the City will provide each residence located within the Program area with a 96-gallon cart. Residents may request a smaller, 65-gallon cart, if that better suits their needs or purchase additional carts. Fees for the cost of additional carts and related fees can be obtained by calling 301-600-1377.
