EXPECT DELAYS AS A RESULT OF OPOSSUMTOWN PIKE ROAD WORK NEAR FCC

Frederick, Md. --- Please be advised that the City of Frederick’s Sewer Department will be excavating the blacktop and repairing a storm drain intake in the left-hand, southbound lane of Opossumtown Pike, at the east entrance to Frederick Community College (FCC). This work is schedule to take place from Monday, January 23 - Friday, January 27, weather and emergency work permitting.

The south side of Opossumtown Pike will be reduced to a single lane. Only the lane closest to the curb will be closed. On the north side, only the turning lane (turning into FCC) will be closed. Expect normal construction equipment in this area while the work is taking place. Work will begin at approximately 7 a.m. daily.
