SCHIFFERSTADT BLVD. RAW WATER TRANSMISSION MAIN - PHASE II WORK CONTINUES

Frederick, Md. ---- Please be advised that from January 19 - 27, W.F. Delauter and Sons, Inc. will be testing the water main from the Monocacy Water Treatment Plant to the intersection of Insely Court and Schifferstadt Blvd. Cleanup and stabilization on Schifferstadt Drive, along Insely Court, will also take place. Also, an additional 80 feet of 12-inch pipe will be installed at the Monocacy Water Treatment Plant.
Please note the impact to the affected area:
1. Traffic control devices such as traffic cones, signs and arrow boards will be used to limit traffic to one lane during the hours of 7 a.m. - 5 p.m.
2. As work progresses, please use caution in areas that have been stabilized and restored. Please do not walk or drive across areas that have been stabilized and restored with seed and straw, as they may be wet or soft and hard to navigate until grass has been reestablished in these areas.
3. During normal working operations, residents should anticipate normal construction equipment noise levels from backhoes, dump trucks, compaction equipment, etc.
4. Please exercise caution when driving or walking in the vicinity of the work area, during or after working hours. Areas that have been marked or enclosed with orange safety fence, or traffic cones indicate a potential hazard. Please stay clear of these areas.
5. Sidewalk and curbs areas along Schifferstadt, please use caution.
We apologize for any inconvenience this street work may have on you. Thank you for your cooperation!
