COMMUNITY GARDEN PLOT PROGRAM AVAILABLE FOR SECOND YEAR

Frederick, Md. --- The City of Frederick Recreation Department is excited to announce for the second year the Community Garden Plot Program at Willow Brook Park. City residents who are interested in growing a garden can now rent a plot of land for $35. These plots will be located on the east side of Tuscarora Creek. At the beginning of the growing season the City of Frederick will plow each of the plots and then the residents who lease them will be solely responsible for planting and weeding. Willow Brook Park is located on McClellan Drive in the Willow Brook subdivision.
