CITY WATER DEPARTMENT TO CONDUCT
WORK AT INTERSECTIONS OF 7TH AND 8TH STREETS
AND MAXWELL AVENUE

Frederick, Md. --- Please be advised that the City of Frederick’s Water Department will be conducting work on Tuesday, February 28, beginning at 7 a.m., at the intersections of 7th and 8th Streets and Maxwell Avenue. The Water Department will be digging to install new main line water valves at these locations. Plates will be temporarily placed over these holes. The City will announce the time that a water shut down will be necessary. These streets may need to be closed temporarily throughout the process. Please avoid the area. There will also be posted parking restrictions.
