GOVERNOR’S WORKFORCE HOUSING TASK FORCE MEETING TO BE HELD IN FREDERICK
Frederick, Md. --- Please be advised that Mayor William J. Holtzinger and the City of Frederick will host the Governor’s Workforce Housing Task Force Meeting on Thursday, March 2nd. There will be an open session for the public from 4 - 6 p.m. where the task force will be soliciting citizen input on the public’s concerns about the rising costs of housing in our state. The public is encouraged to attend this meeting, which will take place at the Delaplaine Visual Arts Education Center. The Governor’s Workforce Housing Task Force is comprised of; Chairman Audrey E. Scott, Secretary of the Maryland Department of Planning; Robert L. Flanagan, Secretary of the Maryland Department of Transportation; Aris Melissaratos, Secretary of the Maryland Department of Business and Economic Development; The Honorable David R. Craig, County Executive for Harford County Government; Victor L. Hoskins, Secretary of the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development; The Honorable William J. Holtzinger, Mayor of the City of Frederick; Alan Ingraham, President of the Maryland Association of Realtors; Christopher L. Rachuba, Secretary/Treasurer of the Rachuba Group; Colonel Kenneth O. McCreedy, Installation Commander for the United States Army, Ft. Meade; Aaron G. Robinson, Social Studies teacher for North Carroll High School; Howard L. Perlow, Executive Vice President of Residential Title and Escrow Company; John E. Rogers, Master Police Officer for City of Greenbelt; and Nancy Jo Porten, Chairman of Porten Homes.
