WATER SERVICE REPLACEMENT CONTINUES ON WEST PATRICK STREET

Frederick, MD --- Please be advised that Mid-Atlantic Utilities, Inc. Mid-Atlantic Utilities, Inc. will begin to saw cut pavement for the new water line trench on West Patrick Street between College Avenue and North Jefferson Street. This work is in preparation of the water main replacement that will begin in March, 2007. Construction activity will be seen on West Patrick Street, between College Avenue and North Jefferson Street between the months of March and November of 2007.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause in you travels and thank you for your cooperation.

IMPACT TO AREA:

Traffic control devices such as traffic cones, signs and arrow boards will be used to limit traffic to one lane during the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
2. Please exercise caution when driving or walking in the vicinity of the temporary bypass piping (blue pipe along street).

3. Please note that during the progress of this work, parking along the street is strongly discouraged. During non-working hours, miscellaneous equipment and materials will be stored within the parking lanes of the streets as necessary.
