WATER MAIN & SERVICE REPLACEMENT
WORK ON WEST PATRICK STREET.

Frederick, Md. --- Please be advised that Mid-Atlantic Utilities, Inc. will continue the installation of temporary bypass piping along West Patrick Street between Bentz Street and College Avenue. The bypass piping will provide water service to the properties within the work area. Scheduled construction dates are Monday, August 7, 2006 through Friday, August 11, 2006. This work is in preparation of the water main replacement that will follow over the next 4 to 5 months. Expect construction activity to continue on West Patrick Street, between Bentz Street and College Avenue through November.

We regret any inconvenience that this may cause in your travels and thank you for your cooperation.

IMPACT TO AREA:

1. Traffic control devices such as traffic cones, signs and arrow boards will be used to limit traffic to one lane during the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
2. Please exercise caution when driving or walking in the vicinity of the temporary bypass piping (blue pipe along street).
3. Please note that during the progress of this work, parking along the street is strongly discouraged. During non-working hours, miscellaneous equipment and materials will be stored within the parking lanes of the streets as necessary.
