WATER MAIN & SERVICE REPLACEMENT
WORK TO CONTINUE ON W. PATRICK ST.

Frederick, Md. --- Mid-Atlantic Utilities, Inc. will continue the removal of the pavement for the new water line trench and start installing the new 16” water main on West Patrick Street from Bentz Street to Jefferson Street. This portion of the Water Main & Service Replacements project will take place from August 28, 2006 through September 1, 2006.
Water main replacement will follow over the next 4 to 5 months. Construction activity will be seen on West Patrick Street, between Bentz Street and College Avenue through November 2006.

We regret any inconvenience this may cause in your travels and thank you for your cooperation.

IMPACT TO AREA:

1. Traffic control devices such as traffic cones, signs and arrow boards will be used to limit traffic to one lane during the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
2. Please exercise caution when driving or walking in the vicinity of the temporary bypass piping (blue pipe along street).
3. Please note that during the progress of this work, parking along the street is strongly discouraged. During non-working hours, miscellaneous equipment and materials will be stored within the parking lanes of the streets as necessary.
