WATER SERVICE PROJECT TO CONTINUE
ON WEST PATRICK STREET
Frederick, Md. --- Please be advised that Mid-Atlantic Utilities, Inc will continue the installation of temporary bypass piping along West Patrick Street between Bentz Street and College Avenue. The bypass piping will provide water service to the properties within the work area. Additionally, a crew will begin to saw cut , remove the pavement for the new water line trench and install the new 16” water main. Schedule construction dates for this portion of the project are Monday, August 21, 2006 to Friday, August 25, 2006. Water main replacement will follow over the next 4 to 5 months. Construction activity will be seen on West Patrick Street, between Bentz St. and College Ave. through November 2006.

IMPACT TO AREA:
1. Traffic control devices such as traffic cones, signs and arrow boards will be used to limit traffic to one lane during the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
2. Please exercise caution when driving or walking in the vicinity of the temporary bypass piping (blue pipe along street).
3. Please note that during the progress of this work, parking along the street is strongly discouraged. During non-working hours, miscellaneous equipment and materials will be stored within the parking lanes of the streets as necessary.
