RESTORATION PORTION OF PROJECT
TO BEGIN ON GROVE BOULEVARD
Frederick, Md. --- Please be advised that Mid-Atlantic Utilities, Inc. will begin performing the permanent restoration portion of the water main and service replacement project on Grove Boulevard. This will start with the replacement of curbing and sidewalk that was damaged during construction. Schedule construction dates for this portion of the project are Monday, August 21, 2006 to Friday, August 25, 2006. We ask that all local traffic (residents living on Grove Boulevard) enter from Rosemont Avenue during this time period. The water main replacement and associated work in this area will continue for approximately 1 month. Construction activity will be seen on Grove Boulevard between Rosemont Avenue and West 2nd Street through September 2006.
We regret any inconvenience that this may cause in your travels and thank you for your cooperation.
IMPACT TO AREA:
1. Traffic control devices such as traffic cones, signs and arrow boards will be used to limit traffic to one lane during the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
2. Temporary traffic detours will be installed on a daily basis, as needed, from 6:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. During these temporary detours, only local traffic will be permitted on Hamilton Ave. between Rosemont Ave. and West 2nd Street. The intended detour routes will be either Lindbergh Avenue or Magnolia Avenue.
3. Please exercise caution when driving or walking in the vicinity of the temporary bypass piping (blue pipe along street).
4. Please note that during the progress of this work, parking along the street is strongly discouraged. During non-working hours, miscellaneous equipment and materials will be stored within the parking lanes of the streets as necessary.
