INSTALLATION OF NEW WATER SERVICE TO IMPACT EAST SOUTH STREET NEXT WEEK

Frederick, Md. --- Please be advised that the City of Frederick’s Water Department will be cutting into the east bound lane of East South Street early next week to install a new water service at 86 East South Street. Work is scheduled to take place Monday, April 10 and Tuesday, April 11, from 7 a.m. - 3 p.m., weather and emergency work permitting.
As a result of this work the east bound lane of East South Street will be closed to thru traffic. Two detours routes are being provided: 1) Traffic may detour left onto South Market Street then right onto East All Saints Street and right onto South Carroll Street back to East South Street or 2) right onto South Market Street and then left onto Clarke Place and then left onto South Carroll Street to East South Street.
