WATER MAIN INSTALLATION TO CONTINUE ON HAMILTON AVENUE
Frederick, Md. --- Please be advised installation of the water main work will continue along Hamilton Avenue from East Patrick Street to East South Street. This phase of work is scheduled to begin on Monday, April 24, 2006 and will continue through Friday, April 28, 2006. During working hours, a traffic detour will be in place. We ask that all local traffic (residents of Hamilton Avenue) enter from Patrick Street during this time period. Construction activity will be seen on Hamilton Avenue between East Patrick Street and East South Street through July 2006.
IMPACT TO AREA:
1. Traffic control devices will be used to limit traffic to one lane during the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
2. Temporary traffic detours will be installed on a daily basis, as needed, from 6:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. During these temporary detours, only local traffic and deliveries will be permitted on the streets being affected by this work. The intended detours routes will be either Franklin Street or Carroll Street.
3. Please exercise caution when driving or walking in the vicinity of the temporary bypass piping (blue pipe along street)
4. During the progress of this work, parking along the street is strongly discouraged. During non-working hours, miscellaneous equipment and materials will be stored within the parking lanes of the streets as necessary
