WATER MAIN AND SERVICE INSTALLATIONS TO CONTINUE ON GRANT PLACE
Frederick, Md. --- Please be advised the water main and service installations will continue along Grant Place from Bolton Street to Rosemont Avenue. The work performed during this period will primarily be comprised of night work. Beginning Sunday, April 23 a segment of night work at the intersection of Grant Place and Rosemont Avenue will begin at approximately 8:00 p.m. and end at approximately 5:00 a.m. The night work will continue through Tuesday evening April 25 or Wednesday evening April 26 depending upon weather conditions.
IMPACT TO AREA:
- Traffic control devices will be used to limit traffic to one lane during the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Temporary traffic detours will be installed on a daily basis, as needed, from 6:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. During these temporary detours, only local traffic and deliveries will be permitted on the streets being affected by this work.
- Please exercise caution when driving or walking in the vicinity of the temporary bypass piping (blue pipe along street)
- During the progress of this work, parking along the street is strongly discouraged. During non-working hours, miscellaneous equipment and materials will be stored within the parking lanes of the streets as necessary
