WELLS 3, 4 AND 7 EXCAVATION AND STONE GRADING FOR ACCESS ROADS CONTINUES

Frederick, Md. --- Please be advised that during the week of September 12 - 16, Mid-Atlantic Utilities, Inc. will continue with the excavation and stone grading for the access roads to Wells 3, 4 and 7. This work will include the placement of the remaining fill along Dogwood Drive for the access road to Well 7. Once the access roads have been established to each well site, the crew will begin the electrical conduit installations along Schifferstadt Boulevard and to Wells 3 and 7.
Please note the impact to the affected area:
1. Traffic control devices such as traffic cones, signs and arrow boards will be used to limit traffic to one lane during the hours of 7 a.m. - 5 p.m.
2. As work progresses, please use caution in areas that have been stabilized and restored. Please do not walk or drive across areas that have been stabilized and restored with seed and straw, as they may be wet or soft and hard to navigate until grass has been reestablished in these areas.
3. During normal working operations, residents should anticipate normal construction equipment noise levels from backhoes, dump trucks, compaction equipment, etc.
4. Please exercise caution when driving or walking in the vicinity of the work area, during or after working hours. Areas that have been marked or enclosed with orange safety fence, or traffic cones indicate a potential hazard. Please stay clear of these areas.
