COPPER SULFATE BEING ADDED
TO LAKE LINGANORE

Frederick, Md. --- Please be advised that the City of Frederick will be applying copper sulfate to Lake Linganore on Friday, September 30th, to treat taste and odor causing algae. The work will take place from 8 a.m. - 12 p.m. Both the Maryland Department of the Environment (MDE) and the Lake Linganore Association have been contacted and are aware of this work. There should not be any impact to the public or livestock in relation to the small dosage being applied.
