TEMPORARY BYPASS PIPING ALONG
WILSON PLACE CONTINUES
Frederick, Md. --- Please be advised that Mid-Atlantic Utilities, Inc. will continue the installation of temporary bypass piping along Wilson Place heading south towards Rosemont Avenue during the first week of October. The bypass piping will provide water service to the properties within the work area.
The water main replacement and associated work in this area will continue for approximately four months.
Construction activity will be seen on Wilson Place, between 7th St. and Rosemont Ave. through November 2005.
Please note the following impacts to the area:
1. Traffic control devices such as traffic cones, signs and arrow boards will be used to limit traffic to one lane during the hours of 7 a.m. - 5 p.m.
2. Temporary traffic detours will be installed on a daily basis, as needed, from 6:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. During these temporary detours, only local traffic and deliveries will be permitted on the street being worked on.
3. Please exercise caution when driving or walking in the vicinity of the temporary bypass piping (blue pipe along street).
4. Please note that during the progress of this work, parking along the street is strongly discouraged. During non-working hours, miscellaneous equipment and materials will be stored within the parking lanes of the streets as necessary.
We apologize for any inconvenience this work may have on you. Thank you for your cooperation!
