TEMPORARY BYPASS PIPING ALONG
WILSON PLACE AND BOLTON STREET NEXT WEEK

Frederick, Md. --- Please be advised that Mid-Atlantic Utilities, Inc. will continue the installation of temporary bypass piping along Wilson Place and Bolton Street during the week of September 19th. The bypass piping will provide water service to the properties within the work area.
Additionally, a second crew will begin installing water main on Wilson Place, working south from Rosemont Avenue. The water main replacement and associated work in this area will continue for approximately four months.
On Wednesday September 7, a water main shut down will be required at the intersection of Wilson Place and 7th Street. This water service interruption should only affect water service for one or two blocks in each direction of the location mentioned and will be from approximately 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. This work is in preparation of the water main replacement that will follow over the next four months or so.
Construction activity will be seen on Wilson Place, between 7th St. and Rosemont Ave. through November 2005.
Please note the following impacts to the area:
1. Traffic control devices such as traffic cones, signs and arrow boards will be used to limit traffic to one lane during the hours of 7 a.m. - 5 p.m.
2. Temporary traffic detours will be installed on a daily basis, as needed, from 6:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. During these temporary detours, only local traffic and deliveries will be permitted on the street being worked on.
3. Please exercise caution when driving or walking in the vicinity of the temporary bypass piping (blue pipe along street).
4. Please note that during the progress of this work, parking along the street is strongly discouraged. During non-working hours, miscellaneous equipment and materials will be stored within the parking lanes of the streets as necessary.
We apologize for any inconvenience this work may have on you. Thank you for your cooperation!
