MAYOR CALLS FOR CLOSED SESSION TO PRECEDE REGULARLY SCHEDULE PUBLIC MEETING

Frederick, Md. --- Mayor Jennifer P. Dougherty has requested a Closed Session to precede the regularly scheduled Mayor and Board of Aldermen Public Meeting on Thursday, October 6. Mayor Dougherty will request a vote of the Aldermen to convene the meeting as a Closed Session. This action is in accordance with the authority granted under the Annotated Code of Maryland, State Government Article, and Section 10-508 (a)(7) which states; to consult with counsel to obtain legal advice.

The Mayor will entertain a motion to this effect 6 p.m. on Thursday and will comply with the Open Meetings Act to the fullest extent.
