CITY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF ELECTIONS SEEKING ELECTION JUDGES FOR 2005 CITY GENERAL ELECTION
Frederick, MD ---- Frederick City’s Board of Supervisors of Elections is seeking individuals to serve as election judges at polling places on the City of Frederick’s General Election Day, November 1, 2005.
In accordance with the City of Frederick’s charter, judges must be registered voters in the City, at least 18 years of age by the date of the general election, and a member of either the Democratic or Republican parties. All judges must be able to speak, read and write the English language, and while acting as a judge must not hold or be a candidate for public office.
The Board is currently seeking more than 15 election judges. There is a critical need for judges who can serve at the Hillcrest polling location. Training will be provided, and all judges are compensated for both training and Election Day work.
Those who have already applied to serve as an election judge need not reapply.
