Make historic Frederick your hometown this holiday season, as Celebrate Frederick Inc. presents seven events that will fill your heart with holiday cheer. Designed to appeal to all ages, the events capture the small town charm that makes Frederick so special. Following is a listing of the events:
Scents and Sweets Competition & Exhibit
Wednesday, November 30th - free
Delaplaine Visual Arts Education Center
5:30 to 8 p.m.
Bakers and florists, both amateurs and professionals, create magnificent gingerbread houses and floral centerpieces along a holiday theme. Winners are determined by a panel of judges and popular vote, and receive cash prizes. The deadline to submit an entry form is Friday, November 11th, and entry forms are available online at www.celebratefrederick.com or through the Office of Special Events at 301-228-2844.
