East Church Street Reconstruction Project Update
Frederick, Md. --- The City of Frederick is reconstructing East Church Street.
This coming week on Monday May 9, 2005, the subcontractor will start installing granite curb and gutter by Winchester Hall, heading to Carroll Street. On Wednesday June 1, 2001, F.O. Day hopes to have all granite curbs and gutter set, plus binder asphalt installed as well. DPW will move in and start working on the sidewalk on the south side.

Construction on East Church Street between Chapel Alley to East Street will consist of the following on Monday May 9, 2005, or Tuesday May 10, 2005, F.O. Day will have three-sewer manhole and the 8" sewer line main installed. The sewer house connection on the North side of East Church will all be in service at this time. On Wednesday May 11, 2005, F.O. Day will start the sewer house connection on the south side of East Church Street. The south side sewer house connection most likely will take 30 days, because it will take at least one and half days to complete one sewer house connection.
