NEIGHBORHOOD ADVISORY
COUNCIL (NAC) 7 MEETING CANCELLED
Frederick, Md. --- The City of Frederick is pleased to announce a meeting of the Neighborhood Advisory Council (NAC) 7 on Tuesday, February 1, 2005, 7 p.m., at North Frederick Elementary School is cancelled due the schools being closed.
NAC 7 is bound on the west by Route #15 from the West 7th Street north to Motter Avenue and by Thomas Johnson Drive south of Liberty Road (Route #26), on the north by Worman's Mill Industries and the Monocacy River, on the east by Gashouse Pike, and on the south by 7th Street, 5th Street east of North East Street and County Lane. Includes Monocacy Meadows and Monocacy Crossing and the areas surrounding North Frederick Elementary and Governor Thomas Johnson High School. Does not include Worman's Mill Industries.
Residents are encouraged to attend this NAC 7 meeting and get involved.
The Neighborhood Advisory Council (NAC) Initiative is a comprehensive community development initiative designed to empower residents and neighborhoods to strengthen communities. The underlying premise of the Neighborhood Advisory Council Initiative is that the residents and business community in a neighborhood are most ideally suited to identify and solve issues in those communities. The NAC’s provide residents the opportunity to work with the City Departments, such as Frederick Community Action Agency, Department of Planning & Community Development, to ensure the City is delivering high quality services.
