THIS SUMMER - PADDLE YOUR WAY TO FUN ON CULLER LAKE!

Have you have ever wanted to experience paddling a kayak or canoe? Or, glide along calm water on a paddle boat? This summer, River & Trail Outfitters, in partnership with The City of Frederick, will offer boat rentals on Culler Lake beginning Sunday, June 19th. Pack a lakeside picnic and bring your family and friends for an enjoyable afternoon of boating. This can also be a great afternoon activity for the family if you are planning to spend the evening at Baker Park for the Summer Concert Series or Summerfest Family Theatre!

Hours of operation will be as follows (weather permitting):
Sundays - June 19, 26, July 10, 17, 24, 31, August 7, 14, 21, & 28th from 2pm-6:30pm
Saturdays - July 9, 16, 23, 30, August 6, 13, 20, & 27 from 2pm - 6:30pm.

Boats available for rental include 16 foot intrepid canoes, solo kayaks, tandem kayaks and paddle boats. Costs for rentals are $5 per half hour for solo rides and $10 per half hour for tandem rides. No reservations required or taken. Ideal for last minute plans and those who want to learn how to paddle on calm water.

Founded in 1972 by Lee and Eunsook Baihly, River & Trail Outfitters have thirty-three years experience and are family run and operated. Lee Baihly, an Eagle Scout, used his love for the outdoors and people to build a high-quality professional outfitter focusing on safety and excellent customer service. They also provide an excellent staff trained in CPR, first aid, and river safety. River & Trail is based out of Knoxville, Maryland.
