NEIGHBORHOOD ADVISORY
COUNCIL (NAC) 9 MEETING ANNOUNCED

Frederick, Md. --- The City of Frederick is pleased to announce a meeting of the Neighborhood Advisory Council (NAC) 9 on Tuesday June 14, 2005 at 7:00 p.m. at William Talley Recreation Center.

NAC 9 is bound on the West by Route #15, on the North by Rosemont and Dill Avenues, on the east by Bentz Street, and on the South by Jefferson Street. Includes Carroll Creek, Culler Lake, Baker Park, and Catoctin Park, and Fairfield, Westbrook, Wyngate, and Brigadoon developments

The Neighborhood Advisory Council (NAC) Initiative is a comprehensive community development initiative designed to empower residents and neighborhoods to strengthen communities. The underlying premise of the Neighborhood Advisory Council Initiative is that the residents and business community in a neighborhood are most ideally suited to identify and solve issues in those communities. The NAC’s provide residents the opportunity to work with the City Departments, such as Frederick Community Action Agency, Department of Planning & Community Development, to ensure the City is delivering high quality services.

Residents are encouraged to attend this NAC meeting and get involved.
