PORTION OF HAMILTON AVENUE TO BE CLOSED WEDNESDAY

Frederick, Md. --- The City of Frederick’s Water Department will be excavating in the street in front of the 208 Hamilton Avenue on Wednesday, July 6, weather permitting, in order to install a new water service.

Impacts in the neighborhood will include:
1. The street will be closed to thru traffic. Local traffic only will be allowed through.
2. Construction/No Parking signs will be posted in this area.
3. Expect normal construction equipment, such as backhoes, air compressors, dump trucks, etc., in this area while the work is taking place. The work will begin around 7a.m.
