DILL AVENUE WORK SCHEDULED FOR MONDAY

Frederick, Md. --- Please be advised that the City of Frederick’s water Department will be installing a new 6” water service and a fire hydrant on Dill Avenue on Monday, August 1st (weather permitting).
The City’s Water Department will be excavating an area in the road at 217 Dill Avenue, to expose the existing water main and install a new 6” service to the property line, as well as a fire hydrant. Once the work is complete, the Water Department will backfill and patch the excavated area.
Please note the impact to the affected area:
1. No Parking signs will be posted on both sides of the street in this area.
2. Different traffic patterns will be utilized for this work, including but not limited to: lane shifts, a single lane of traffic or the road may need to be closed for a period of time.
3. Expect normal construction equipment in this area while the work is taking place.
4. The work will begin around 7 a.m.
