East Church Street Reconstruction Project Update

The contractor, F.O. Day, completed all sewer house connections today and will be preparing for the installation of the water main next week. The water main will be installed along the south side of Church from Chapel Alley to East Street. The City estimates that the water main installation will span approximately 2 weeks with weather permitting.

The City of Frederick’s Department of Public Work’s crews are continuing their sidewalk work and will be in front of the Keeney and Basford funeral home at 106 E. Church St. for most of next week.
