GRASS CUTTING BRIGADE

Frederick, Md. --- The City of Frederick is pleased to introduce a new initiative called the Grass Cutting Brigade. The Grass Cutting Brigade has been designed to assist residents who are unable to mow their own yards as a result of a disability or age. The City is currently seeking volunteers who are willing and able to mow grass for those in need within their Neighborhood Advisory Council (NAC). Once a volunteer list has been created it will be posted on the City of Frederick’s website for those in need to contact them. Note the list will include names and contact information.

The Grass Cutting Brigade is dependent on volunteers helping those in need. This is a great way to build community relations and strong neighborhoods.
