NEIGHBORHOOD ADVISORY
COUNCIL (NAC) 10 MEETING ANNOUNCED

Frederick, Md. --- The City of Frederick is pleased to announce a meeting of the Neighborhood Advisory Council (NAC) 10 on Tuesday, January 11, 2005 at 6:00 pm at Carver Building.
NAC 10 covers bound on the North by South Street and Jefferson Street, on the East by South Market Street and Urbana Pike as well as the Frederick City Limits, on the South by Farmbrook Drive, Crestwood Boulevard, and the City Limits, and on the West by Route #15. Includes Ballenger Creek Center, Solarex and Mount Olivet Cemetary areas as well as South Catoctin Park.
The Neighborhood Advisory Council (NAC) Initiative is a comprehensive community development initiative designed to empower residents and neighborhoods to strengthen communities. The underlying premise of the Neighborhood Advisory Council Initiative is that the residents and business community in a neighborhood are most ideally suited to identify and solve issues in those communities. The NAC’s provide residents the opportunity to work with the City Departments, such as Frederick Community Action Agency, Department of Planning & Community Development, to ensure the City is delivering high quality services.

Residents are encouraged to attend this NAC meeting and get involved.

For additional information on the NAC 10or any other NAC contact Sara McGill, Community Outreach Assistant, at 301-846-2236.
