Frederick, Md. --- The City of Frederick is pleased to introduce a new initiative called the Snow Shovel Brigade. The Snow Shovel Brigade has been designed to assist residents who are unable to shovel their own sidewalks as a result of a disability or age. The City is currently seeking volunteers who are willing and able to shovel snow for those in need within their Neighborhood Advisory Council (NAC). Once a volunteer list has been created it will be posted on the City of Frederick’s website for those in need to contact them. Note the list will include names and contact information.

The Snow Shovel Brigade is dependent on volunteers helping those in need. This is a great way to build community relations and strong neighborhoods.
