East Church Street Reconstruction Project Update

Frederick, Md. --- The City of Frederick is reconstructing East Church Street.
This past week the placement of the water laterals continued. The last two mid-block were excavated Friday, January 7, 2005 and will be installed Monday, January 10, 2005.

This coming week the remaining lateral near Market Street will be installed, after which the water main will be tied in near Market Street. This will result in removal of the steel plates in front of the parking deck. After this is completed, the storm drain work will begin.
