PART OF SHOOKSTOWN ROAD TO BE
CLOSED FOR INSTALLATION OF
TRAFFIC CHANNELIZATION ISLAND

Frederick, Md. --- Please be advised that as a part of the ongoing Rosemont Avenue widening project, Brunswick Excavating, Inc., a contractor for the City of Frederick, will be temporarily closing Shookstown Road between Rosemont Avenue and Baughman's Lane. This closure is due to the installation of a traffic channelization island, which will assist in enforcement of the right-turn-in and -out restrictions. This closure will take place from Wednesday, February 16 through Friday, February 18, weather permitting. If weather does not allow work on the scheduled dates, February 21 - 23 will be the alternate dates. Local access to the residents in this area will be granted via Baughman's Lane.
