On Saturday, December 3rd, Downtown Frederick Partnership celebrates the merriment of the season with December's First Saturday Gallery Walk, from 5-9 PM brought to you by The Frederick News-Post and Morgan-Keller Inc. This First Saturday will make spirits bright with A Holiday Cookie Tour, featuring free cookies - while supplies last - and recipe cards from participating merchants. First Saturday also will include FREE carriage rides (from 5-8:30 PM leaving from 124 N Market Street), luminary lined streets and more than 80 participating shops, galleries and restaurants. For a complete list of activities, visit www.downtownfrederick.org. The winners of the Scents & Sweets gingerbread house competition will be on display throughout downtown.
The First Saturday downtown express will shuttle shoppers between Market, Patrick and Everedy Square/Shab Row. This FREE service will run in a continuous loop from 5:30 - 9:30 PM. Shuttle stops are located near Nido's on Patrick, near Isabella's on Market and near the Wishing Tree Cafe on Church Street.
Don't forget the Kris Kringle Parade at 6:30 PM on Friday, December 2 or the Candlelight House Tour on Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon.
