NEIGHBORHOOD ADVISORY
COUNCIL (NAC) 8 MEETING ANNOUNCED

Frederick, Md. --- The City of Frederick is pleased to announce a meeting of the Neighborhood Advisory Council (NAC) 8 on Wednesday, August 10, 7 p.m., Hillcrest Elementary School Media Center.
NAC 8 bound on the north by Route #40, on the west by the City limits, on the south by Route #70, and on the east by Route #15. Includes Hillcrest Orchards, Golfview, Overlook, Frederick Heights, Linden Hills, Monarch Ridge, Emerald Farm and Prospect View.
The Neighborhood Advisory Council (NAC) Initiative is a comprehensive community development initiative designed to empower residents and neighborhoods to strengthen communities. The underlying premise of the Neighborhood Advisory Council Initiative is that the residents and business community in a neighborhood are most ideally suited to identify and solve issues in those communities. The NAC’s provide residents the opportunity to work with the City Departments, such as Frederick Community Action Agency, Department of Planning & Community Development, to ensure the City is delivering high quality services.

Residents are encouraged to attend this NAC 8 meeting and get involved.

For additional information on the NAC 8 or any other NAC contact Sara McGill, Community Outreach Assistant, at 301-846-2236.
