MAYOR CALLS FOR EXECUTIVE SESSION
TO TAKE PLACE THURSDAY

Frederick, Md. --- Mayor Jennifer P. Dougherty has requested an Executive Session to on Thursday, September 1, at 5:30 p.m. Mayor Dougherty will request a vote of the Aldermen to convene the meeting as a closed Executive Session. This action is in accordance with the authority granted under the Annotated Code of Maryland, State Government Article, and Section 10-508 (a) which states; a public body may meet in closed session to consider (1) the acquisition of real property for a public purpose.

The Mayor will entertain a motion to this effect at 5:30 p.m. and will comply with the Open Meetings Act to the fullest extent.
