CITY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF ELECTIONS SEEKING REPUBLICAN ELECTION JUDGES FOR 2005 CITY PRIMARY AND GENERAL ELECTIONS
Frederick, MD - Frederick City’s Board of Supervisors of Elections is seeking individuals to serve as Republican election judges at polling places on Primary Election Day, September 13, and General Election Day, November 1, 2005.
In accordance with the City of Frederick’s charter, judges must be registered voters in the City, and at least 18 years of age by the date of the primary election. All judges must be able to speak, read and write the English language, and while acting as a judge must not hold or be a candidate for public office.
The Board has announced that there is a critical need for Republicans who can serve as judges. There is currently a shortage of 14 Republican judges. This shortage may result in delays in voting on Primary day. Paid Training will be provided and all election judges are paid a minimum of $120 for working the election.
Those who have already applied to serve as an election judge need not reapply.
To apply or for additional information please contact the Board at 301-600-1006, or email electionboard@fredco-md.net.
