DOWNTOWN ALIVE @ FIVE

On August 25, join your co-workers, friends and neighbors for Downtown Alive @ Five.  Presented by Morgan-Keller, this happy hour event is held outside from 5 - 8 PM along the banks of Carroll Creek between East and Carroll Streets.   Head down to the creek on August 25 to sample beer, sip wine and eat great food all while listening to cool tunes.  This month's happy hour features the Special Delivery Band.

Downtown Alive @ Five would not be possible without the generous contributions provided by the following businesses:  Morgan Keller, Inc., Key 103.1, The Eagle 106.9, The Gazette, Farmers & Mechanics Bank, Audio Video Group, Brewer's Alley, Signature Special Event Services, Golden Orchid Salon & Spa, Jean Peterson Design, La Paz Mexican Restaurant, MacRo Ltd., Robin Jones Consulting, the Rotary Club of Carroll Creek and Sovereign Bank.

Event Details:  Downtown Alive @ Five is held along Carroll Creek with the happy hour entrance on the eastside of the Delaplaine Visual Arts Education Center.  Parking is available in the lot located to the east of the Delaplaine.  Due to Carroll Creek construction, pedestrians must use downtown sidewalks rather than Carroll Creek Park to walk to Alive @ Five.  Each event is 21 and older only.  A $5 cover charge applies.  Beer will be provided by Brewer's Alley, wine by Firestone's Restaurant and food by Venuti's for a charge.  In the case of inclement weather, the event will be canceled.
