GRAMMY AWARD WINNERS TO GIVE PERFORMANCE
AT 2005 SUMMERFEST FAMILY THEATRE SERIES

Two-time Grammy Award winners Cathy Fink and Marcy Marxer will be performing their award-winning children’s music on Saturday, August 13th in Baker Park. Celebrate Frederick will present the performers as part of this year’s Summerfest Family Theatre Series. The performance is free to the public and will begin at 7 p.m. Miss Frederick Elizabeth Greene will lead a sing along to open the show.

Cathy Fink and Marcy Marxer have been entertaining children for over 20 years, releasing over 30 albums and videos in the process. Hailing from Montgomery County, the singer-songwriters have received countless awards and honors, including back-to back Grammy awards in 2004 and 2005 for Best Musical Album for Children. Their good humor songs are both relevant and captivating to young audiences, and their combined experience of over 7,000 performances around the globe sets the standard for family participation and fun.
