CELEBRATE FREDERICK UNVEILS NEW LOOK

Celebrate Frederick congratulates Tim Ellis and Jeremy Bohner of Inertia Graphics for winning the group’s recent design competition. Their logo was selected from over 60 entries and was unveiled at a fundraising event held April 2 at the Weinberg Center for the Arts. “Creating an identity to represent and personify 13 of Frederick’s best known and popular events was a monumental task,” said Rich Vallaster, Celebrate Frederick vice president, in a statement. Some of these events include favorites such as IN THE STREET, Frederick’s 4th - An Independence Day Celebration, Summer Concert Series and the Kris Kringle Procession.
Ellis, president and creative director of Inertia Graphics, and Bohner, graphic designer, focused on creating a logo that would “encompass energy, community, fun and imagination,” When asked what prompted him to enter this contest, Ellis stated, “As our national client base continues to grow and build credibility, we know that our local client base is continuing to support the foundation of the business. Our main purpose for entering this contest was to gain exposure and to inform the business community of our products and services.” To learn more about Inertia Graphics, visit www.inertia-graphics.com or call 301-714-2282.
Inertia Graphics received $500 for their winning design. The logo will be used on all future Celebrate Frederick promotional materials. For information about Celebrate Frederick, call 301-228-2844.
