GARDEN TOUR SET FOR MAY 21 & 22

After a year break, The “Beyond the Garden Gates” Garden Tour is back, and promises to be better than ever! Celebrate Frederick presents the event on Saturday, May 21 and Sunday, May 22 from 1 to 5 p.m.
This self-guided tour offers visitors a unique peek into some of Frederick’s finest private and public gardens. From sweet fragrances and lush colors, to unique uses of small spaces, guests are often surprised at what they find. You can even learn how to garden the “green”, or environmentally safe, way.
Tickets for the tour, which is held rain or shine, cost $12 per person and will be available after Monday, May 2 at the following locations:
The Delaplaine Visual Arts Education Center, 40 South Carroll Street,
Earthworks, 1460B West Patrick Street and 221 North East Street,
Flights of Fancy, 20 East Street,
The Grapevine, 117 East Patrick Street,
The Schifferstadt Museum, 1110 Rosemont Avenue,
The Tourism Council of Frederick County, 19 East Church Street.
Proceeds from the tour benefit the Garden Club of Frederick and a beautification program in The City of Frederick.
