WORK CONTINUES ON SCHIFFERSTADT BLVD. RAW WATER TRANSMISSION MAIN
Frederick, Md. --- Mid-Atlantic Utilities, Inc. will continue the piping installation for the proposed raw water main along Schifferstadt Blvd. and within Fredericktowne Village Park. We will be concentrating on the 12” loop to well #3. This work will also include the placement of the dewatering device structure. During this time, Mid-Atlantic Utilities, Inc. will also have a second crew, which will be excavating/placing the new 12” raw water main along Schifferstadt Blvd from Insley Circle heading back toward Fredericktowne Village Park. This work will require traffic on Schifferstadt Blvd. (between Insley Circle and Stafford Way) to be limited to one lane in southbound direction as stated in the “Impact to Area” notes below. Please note that the lane restriction will not include the entire area stated but will move along Schifferstadt Blvd. as the pipe installation progresses. Construction activity will be seen on Schifferstadt Blvd. and within Fredericktowne Village Park through June 2005.
