TWO SINKHOLES LOCATED WITHIN CITY LIMITS

Frederick, Md. --- Please be advised two sinkholes were located today within City limits. A sinkhole was located on Monocacy Boulevard and South Street. State Highway Administration Geologists, as well as City Engineers, will be onsite today. A lane shift will occur on South Street as a precautionary measure. A sinkhole was also located off Monocacy Boulevard near Bales Lane, which borders City and private property.
