East Church Street Reconstruction Project Update
Frederick, Md. --- The City of Frederick is reconstructing East Church Street.
This past week brought the construction on sewer laterals to the north side of the street continued between Maxwell and Carroll. The contractor was scheduled to do the last lateral today, weather permitting.

This coming week expect the installation of water main will begin, it is planned for near Winchester Hall.

The decision of the trees has been made; tree removal and replacement will take place along with the sidewalk installation. The work and scheduling will be done by DPW forces, so the City will not be in direct control of the work; however, the City will be happy to receive any comments and help to resolve any problems. An updated removal list and a contact will be forward once it’s finalized.
