Express Shuttle Update

Frederick, Md. ---Please be advised of the new operating schedule for the City of Frederick Express Shuttle. Beginning November 1, 2004, The Satellite Parking Shuttle service will operate between the Harry Grove Stadium parking lot and Downtown Frederick Monday - Friday from 6:30 a.m. (first trip departs Harry Grove Stadium Parking lot) until 6:50 p.m. (last trip departs Harry Grove Stadium Parking lot at 6:30 p.m.).

The Express Shuttle service will operate every ten (10) minutes during peak hours from 6:30 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. and from 3:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. Shuttle service will operate every twenty (20) minutes during non-peak hours from 9:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. To accommodate this schedule, one bus will operate continuously from 6:30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. An additional bus will operate during peak hours only.

The Express Shuttle will not operate on the following Holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.

The service is free to all riders.

In addition, The City of Frederick Parking Department is also offering pre-paid debit cards for parking meters in the downtown. These pre-paid cards allow for the user to purchase meter time in advance and then put time on a meter without using coins.
