West Patrick Street Construction Update

Frederick, Md. ---Please be advised Mid-Atlantic Utilities, Inc. will continue installation of the new 16” water main in West Patrick Street. Most of the piping being installed on the dates listed below will require a traffic detour due to the limited amount of space available for safely maintaining a lane of traffic through the work area. We are planning to have a temporary traffic detour in place on Monday, October 18th through Friday, October 22nd. During this time, a second crew will be mobilized to the site and will be performing work within the intersection of Court Street. The work associated with this new water main will continue for the next 2 months. Construction activity will be seen on West Patrick Street, between Court and Bentz Streets, through the end of November 2004.
