HOUSE TOUR TICKETS ON SALE

Don’t miss your chance to get great holiday decorating ideas from the area’s top designers and decorators during this year’s Candlelight House Tour. Tickets have already gone on sale for the self-guided tour through six of Frederick’s prestigious private historic homes, which have been decorated in holiday splendor.

The tour will be held Saturday, December 4th from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. and on Sunday, December 5th from noon to 4:00 p.m. The cost for the tour is $15, and proceeds benefit downtown beautification projects. Tickets can be purchased at Artful Gatherings - 122 East Patrick Street, Flights of Fancy - 20 East Street, The Grapevine - 117 East Patrick Street, Hammond’s Christmas Shop - Frederick Towne Mall, and the Tourism Council’s Visitor Center - 19 East Church Street.

Tickets will also be available during event hours at the Hospitality Center at City Hall in Frederick. Located at 101 North Court Street, the center offers light refreshments, holiday merchandise, and a place to come to warm up from the cold!

This event would not be possible without the hard work of the volunteers of the Holiday Committee, and the following community-minded businesses: Gold Sponsors - BB&T, Bechtel Foundation, COMSTAR Federal Credit Union, Drees Homes, Farmers & Mechanics Bank and Sandy Spring Bank; Silver Sponsors - Bank One, CitiMortgage and The Frederick News Post; Bronze Sponsors - Cellular One, Chessie Federal Credit Union and the Frederick Arts Council.
