West Patrick Street Construction Update

Frederick, Md. --- Mid-Atlantic Utilities, Inc. will continue installation of the new 16” water main in West Patrick Street. Most of the work being performed on the dates listed above will require a traffic detour due to the limited amount of space available for safely maintaining a lane of traffic through the work area. We are planning to have a temporary traffic detour in place on Monday, November 8th thru Friday, November 12th. During this time, crews will be installing the remaining piping and performing two (2) water main tie-ins in the Court Street intersection. The tie-ins referenced will require two (2) water main shut downs that are scheduled for Wednesday November 10th. Water service line replacements will also continue this week. Construction activity will occur on West Patrick Street, between N. Court and Bentz Streets, through the end of November 2004.
